On the Waterfront

Dublin Port Authority

2024

Bright developed the interpretive design for the Dublin Port Tolka Estuary Greenway, creating a series of engaging visitor experiences that reveal the layered history, ecology and working life of the port. Through carefully considered storytelling, graphics and Discovery Point installations, the project connects visitors to Dublin Bay’s maritime heritage, wildlife and evolving industrial landscape.

The Dublin Port Tolka Estuary Greenway gives the public access to views of Dublin Bay that were previously inaccessible, opening up a unique perspective on the city’s working port and coastal landscape.

Interpretive panels along the route reveal stories ranging from the 1014 Battle of Clontarf to the more than 300 recorded shipwrecks lying beneath Dublin Bay.
