Bright played a central role in shaping the visitor experience at Glencadam Distillery, translating the brand’s heritage into a contemporary and immersive environment. Working alongside JM Architects and Angus Dundee Distillers, Bright delivered the interior design, retail experience, signage and wayfinding, and exhibition elements, creating a welcoming destination that balances authentic character with thoughtful, modern design.

A key feature of the new Visitor Centre is a fully immersive audio-visual exhibition, designed to bring the story of Glencadam Distillery to life and transform the traditional distillery tour into a memorable and fully interactive experience.

The retail space includes a bespoke waterwheel display unit, a subtle design reference to one of Glencadam Distillery’s most recognisable features, helping connect visitors to the site’s heritage.

We designed a warm and welcoming whisky snug with rich and tactile materials, that sit alongside the signature Glencadam blue. Which creates an intimate space that feels both relaxed and refined. The perfect spot to enjoy a dram!
